Privacy policy
Last updated
This policy covers polebuildingsunlimitedinc.com, run by Pole Buildings Unlimited Inc (575 N Dupont Hwy, Dover, DE 19901). Questions about it go to info@pbuincde.com or 302-399-4420.
What we collect
What you send us. When you use the quote form we receive your name, phone number, the town or ZIP code where you plan to build, the type of building, and anything else you choose to add, such as an email address, a rough size, a timeline or notes. If you call or email, we receive what you tell us.
What every website receives. Like any site, ours is served by a hosting company whose servers record basic technical details of each visit (such as the IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and troubleshooting.
Analytics and cookies
We use two services to count visits and see which pages people read.
Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_1LSWXDZLKV, that hold a random ID for up to 13 months so a return visit can be told apart from a new one. Each page you open sends Google the page address, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your general location. It also notes when someone taps our phone number or email address or sends a quote request, without anything typed into the form. Google explains how it uses this information in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and you can turn Google Analytics off in your browser with Google’s opt-out add-on.
Metricool sets no cookies. Each page you open tells it the page address, the site that sent you (such as a search engine) and the size of your browser window, along with the IP address and browser details that come with any web request.
Apart from Google Analytics’ cookies, the only thing this site stores in your browser is a note, kept for that tab only, so the opening animation on the homepage plays once; it holds nothing about you. We don’t use these details to build a profile of you, and we don’t sell them.
How we use it
- To answer your request, talk through your building, and prepare drawings and a quote.
- To manage permits, schedule work and keep you posted if you hire us.
- To keep the records a contractor needs for warranty service, accounting and the law.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who handles it for us
Form submissions pass through our website host (Vercel) and our email delivery service (Resend) so they can reach our inbox, and they may send you a confirmation. These companies process the information only to deliver it. If you hire us, the people and agencies involved in your project, such as county permit offices, inspectors and material suppliers, receive the details they need for that project.
Some links lead to services run by other companies, each with its own privacy policy: our online 3D building designer (custom3dbuilder.com), financing applications with HFS Financial, Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence about a project for as long as it is useful for that project and its warranty, and as long as tax and business records require. If you asked for a quote and didn’t go ahead, you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing info@pbuincde.com or calling 302-399-4420. We’ll answer within a reasonable time and may need to confirm who you are first.
Google Analytics collects information about your visits to this site over time, as described above. Browser “Do Not Track” signals don’t change how this site works; to stop Google Analytics, use Google’s opt-out add-on or block or clear cookies in your browser.
Children
The site is meant for adults planning a building. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. We post this policy in line with Delaware’s Online Privacy and Protection Act.
